Sarah Christine Palamar


Co-Owner / Director / Choreographer

Sarah Christine Palamar, from Tehachapi, California has an extensive 28 years of  experience in dance. Her training involves many styles such as Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Musical Theater, Gymnastics, and Ballroom. She has also trained in competitive, sideline, and professional Cheerleading. Growing up as a competitive dancer since the age of 7 she holds a number of regional and national titles and trained with well-known dancers, choreographers, and directors such as Michael Pena, Dak Eubanks, Kelly Wade, and Brandy Stiles. At the age of 12 she received the World Champion Title of Junior Miss Starpower at National Talent competition in Orlando, Florida. She traveled with Starpowers Power Pak Tour (2000-2002) having the opportunity to dance on stage with MC Hammer and his dancers. Sarah was chosen to perform her award winning solo at the Disney World stage (2001) with the tour and won the “Most Technical Dancer” of the group. Sarah traveled to Spain, New York City, and Maine with the Dance USA team to represent the USA for the Dance World Cup (2008). Sarah has been teaching dance since the year 2006 beginning in Southern California before she decided to make a change in 2008 to teach at Forever Dance Lake Tahoe and All About Dance. Being a choreographer and teacher at Forever Dance for the competition team she won Choreography Awards, Standing Ovation Award, and Judges Awards for her strong Lyrical style dances. Sarah is now Co-Owner, Director, Teacher, and Choreographer, of All About Dance since the summer of 2014.

Paula Baker


Co-Owner / Desk Manager

Paula Baker began dancing at the age of three and continuing through college where she competed in Gymnastics. She took a break to raise her daughter Ginna, who followed her Mom’s passion for dance. Paula and her daughter danced together for several years. Paula took some time off (twenty years) to pursue her career in the auto racing industry, managing National events, running a Professional racing team, as well as dancing with her car behind the wheel, earning five National Championships. When a family move brought her to Carson City she dusted off her shoes and joined us at All About Dance, first as a student, then as Co-Owner and teacher as well as maintaining our front desk.

Joseph Guzman


Hip-Hop / Tumbling / Cheer

Joe Guzman teaches Hip-hop, Cheerleading, Core-strength, and beginning jazz. He started coaching kids in 1995 starting out with inline hockey. In 1996 he choreographed his first dance competition routine, an all-boys Jazz/funk. After High School being introduced to All-Star Cheerleading, Joe Cheered for Studio Del Sol on their College Co-ed All-Star Cheer and Dance Teams. Winning both NCA and UCA titles in Southern California, Joe also Cheered for American Academy of Gymnastics and West Coast Gymstones in Bakersfield Ca. Joe has coached the Foothill High School cheerleading program and West Coast Gymstones Senior, Junior, and Peewee All-Star teams. Currently Joe has been teaching at All About Dance for 3 years along with coaching an All-star cheer team in Virginia City that won the Cheer Xtreme regional championship in Reno NV their first year as a team.

Willow Knier


Ballet / Pointe

Willow began ballet lessons at 2-1/2 years old at a Royal Academy of Dance school ion Half Moon Bay, CA at the Susan Hayward School of Dance. She danced and taught lessons there through age 18. Willow went on to dance at San Francisco State University, performing in showcases and as a member of the dance company. She also performed at Skyline College, Canada College, and several other colleges around the Bay Area. Knier later returned to The Susan Hayward School of Dance as a ballet instructor for several years in addition to assisting  to choreograph musicals at Half Moon Bay High School.

Alisa Merino


Adult Hip-Hop / Adult Lyrical

Born in Southern California and raised in our own Minden, Nevada. Alisa has been dancing and acting for over 13 years. All About Dance being her beloved studio seven of those 13. Preforming in multiple recitals, plays and musicals, she found the stage to be her primary outlet. She could leave everything out on the floor. Soon after graduation, Alisa began teaching at All About Dance. It has been a beautiful blessing in her life. The studio is a second home, a place of foundation and peace. While Alisa teaches, she is also attending Western Nevada College to pursue a degree in Social Work. She hopes to open up her own practice as a Crisis Intervention Counselor for teens 13-15.

Briana Neben


K/1 Combo / Ballet / Tap

Briana has loved expressing herself through dance for the past 20 years, and she was on a competitive dance teams for 11 of those years. Tap has been her first love ever since her first solo on stage at the age of 5. Briana has recently held the titles of Miss Carson City, Miss Lake Tahoe, and Miss Douglas County in the Miss America Organization. She was 1st runner up to Miss Nevada 2016 and 3rd runner up in 2017, with tap dancing as her talent. Briana graduated in May 2018 from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor of Social Work degree and currently works for a non-profit organization in Woodfords, CA.

Alana Belanger


Ballet / Jazz

Alana began dancing at an early age in her hometown of Fredericksburg, Virginia. She has trained in many styles including ballet, pointe, pas de deux, jazz, tap, musical theater, and contemporary and was a company member at Fredericksburg Ballet Centre. She danced featured roles in The Nutcracker, Coppelia, and The Sleeping Beauty ballets. She began singing and acting at age 8 and was cast in musicals with the theater department at Mary Washington College, Fredericksburg Children’s Musical Theater, and Fredericksburg Theater Company. She was accepted to James Madison University as a vocal music major where she had featured roles in the music theater department productions and toured with the show choir. Her professional career began as a singer and dancer for Paramount Kings Productions theme parks and has performed for Cunard, Crown, and Royal Caribbean cruise lines. She has toured in Japan and performed for our military troops stationed in Europe and the Middle East in USO shows. She worked in Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, and Reno as a dancer, singer, actress, and dance captain in large scale production shows and musicals including SUGAR BABIES starring Mickey Rooney and Juliet Prowse and THAT’S ENTERTAINMENT! LIVE! produced by Debbie Reynolds. She had the great pleasure of performing in the Broadway national tour of SHOW BOAT starring Tom Bosley. Alana feels extremely blessed to have worked with so many talented performers, musicians, stage crews, producers, directors and choreographers including Emmy award winner, Michael Darrin and Tony award winner, Susan Stroman. Alana relocated to Gardnerville, NV with her husband, John, in 2001 where they are raising their daughter, Harley, who dances on the AAD competition team. Alana works for the Douglas County School District as a substitute teacher and is thrilled to join the All About Dance teaching staff.

Crystal Rowe



Crystal Rowe took her first dance class at the age of 8 and fell in love with dancing from that day forward. Crystal started taking classes in ballet, tap, and jazz at Sierra Nevada Dance Center in 1987. When the studio closed, Crystal continued on with her ballet teacher Cathy Nelson as she opened All About Dance.  Crystal began taking classes at All About Dance the day it opened in 1994. She continued with ballet, tap, jazz and expanded into assisting, technique, pointe, and hip hop. She continued dancing through high school and earned a spot on the Dance Company team. During that time, the team was given the opportunity to compete and perform at various events throughout Nevada and California.  After high school, Crystal moved to San Diego and took time out from dancing to raise her young daughter. She returned to All About Dance in 2013. All About Dance has always been home for Crystal and she is so happy to be a part of the studio. In October, Crystal became Barre Certified and is now teaching the Barre class.


Hannah Campbell


Pre-Dance / Junior Lyrical / Tech I

Hannah Campbell has 5 years in dance training with all styles. She has competed regionally and nationally with the All About Dance competition team since 2015.  She has 2 years of experience in Teacher Assisting with multiple classes such as tech, pre-dance, K/1 combo, and jazz.  Her passion for dance has driven her passion to teach and inspire young dancers to experience dance to its full potential.  In 2016 she received a Ballet Scholarship from All About Dance.  In 2017 she received the “Outstanding Showmanship” award from Spotlight Dance Cup Regional Competition, along with a “Passion for Dance” Scholarship from All About Dance. In April of 2018, Hannah received 1st Overall from Bravo Dance Cup for her senior division solo and continued to compete the same solo at Spotlight Pacific Northwest Nationals 2018, placing 8th out of 35 dancers.

Emily Meier


Pre-Dance / K/1 Jazz / Tech I / Junior Lyrical

Emily Meier has 6 years of dance training in various styles. She has been on the All About Dance Competitive and Performance team since it started in 2014. Emily is the current reining 2018 Senior Solo Champion for Spotlights National Dance Cup. Her education in dance extends to Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary, Musical Theater, and Lyrical. She was chosen for the “cut-above” students in spotlight specialty groups to perform in this year’s national extravaganza. She is very passionate about dance and wants to contribute that passion to her fellow students.

Kimberlee Courtney


K/1 Hip-Hop

Kimberlee Courtney has been training for 10 years in dance, starting off her education in Musical Theatre.  She received a Musical Theater Scholarship from All About Dance at the age of 12.  From there she has been assisting in K-1 Combo and Musical Theater.  Kimberlee has also been apart of the All About Dance Competition Team since 2014.  Kimberlee placed 4th overall at the Spotlight Dance Cup’s Regional, receiving category winner, and judges choice award.  She also took home 10th overall and another judges award at Bravo Dance Competition.  In 2017, Kimberlee received a $500 scholarship and placed 3rd in CVCT’s Stars of Tomorrow with her self-choregraphed solo “Til it Happened to You”.
